Hi Matt,
If your church has programmab;e synths (ie. workstations like Korg's Triton, M3 series, Yamaha's Motif, MM6), you could use some of the inbuilt drum, even bass loops or build your own. If you are a Mac user; garageband. Your drummer and bassist have to be 'built' like metronomes for this to work well.

Hey, agree with Mike.
The challenge is often not the use of the loops but the discipline of the drummer to keep time :)
But I have tried it before for my worship sessions, used it on songs like Forever (Give thanks to the Lord...) Hosanna (Paul Baloche), Glory (Hillsongs) and it works pretty well though the congregation was a little surprised!

Hi Raymond, Yah, did the same for Hossana (P Baloche) and Glory (Hillsongs). Even used it in a 6/8 hymn like 'Praise to the Lord, the Almighty' with an African groove. Quite refreshing! Btw how was your congregation suprised?
