I did, however, do a lot of music composition in college. I even wrote and composed my own worship song!

I like to write and compose songs based on what I listen to on Christian radio. However, I don't write a whole lot.

When one thinks about the Body of Christ and how writing songs to bring Him glory first and foremost, will then in turn effect and affect the Body drawing those who hear into a great, glorious, worship service, we must recognize that our gift is part of this process. Really it is His gift to us, to in turn be used for Him to draw others to Himself. Each of us has a journey that He has written for us and part of that journey includes writing for His glory. Our journey should be shared with others to demonstrate God's power, God's grace and love poured into our lives in order to draw all men to Jesus. Just as there are many different parts to this Body, each of us has something unique only to our personal life in Christ that can be of great encouragement and hopefully salvation for those who hear. Where you are in your story with Christ is exactly where He has you for His purpose, so draw inspiration from it, whether in difficulty or in great abundance, use even these to bring Glory to God.

I won't have time to work on this til weekend and a guy from New York I met on myspace is willing to work on another so the blessings are just pouring in. and we are learning stuff at the same time. Thank you Lord !!
