Hello all.
I'm not sure how to post this.
I'm NOT advertising this, but I have to post it here.
This morning, I was abruptly terminated from my position at the hospital without cause.
Scrambling to find another position fast, believing for one of those "open windows" we all talk about so much...
I covet your prayers.
Thanks!

I'm with ya mike...and feel for you. I had some notice, but lost my job last Friday. I trust God is faithful and maybe we are in the first wave to be able to minister to many others.... tough break... I pray encouragement and grace on you bro. God has a plan and is in control (preaching to myself too). -Bri
Hey! You know you have all of our prayers. I know what you mean about your job. I am losing mine December 31st. Early forced retirement. It is scary, but Jesus is much bigger. He will come to your rescue. Kara Lynn is in the same boat, pray for her.
Wow Michael, this is a shock coming so soon after we chatted ! Praying for the window to be clear and not . Having been there for an uncomfortable season late last year, I know what it's like. God give you and your family strength and peace as He takes to something greater; where you have greater impact for His Kingdom, and greater blessing as you faithfully do it.
It's a pleasure to pray and agree with you about this need I was laid off on Oct 2 2008 and freaked out but knew God had another plans for me by Nov 17 I was working again. We serve a faithful God.
Blessings
I've been laid off three different times over the years. As horrible as each of them were, the Lord provided during the job search period, and all three times I ended up with a better job than the one I had lost.

Your faith will be stronger on the other side. I know mine was.

I'll be praying.

Update:
There is a lab about 1 mile from my house who "happens to be hiring" (emphasis added). I put in a resume and will be calling them tomorrow. I'm praying God's will be done, but it wouldn't hurt my feelings a bit to not have to commute anymore.
Heck if this particular job worked out, I would be tempted to send my old boss a thank you card, lol!
Still coveting your prayers.

Michael, I am indeed praying for you. Lord God, let that job work out and have Michael in there in no time at all. Bless him and provide for him. Thank you, God! Amen
So much unrest and turbulence in the world. Maybe God's trying to get our attention off of people and their provision and trying to draw us closer to him. He says that he wants to be our source and provision when he said " come to me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest, for my burden is light and my yoke is easy...... " In the long run, God is in control of everything and he delights in the details of our lives. He draws near to those who seek to draw nearer to him. When my health crashed and I lost my business, I panicked because I was thinking about paying my bills and what I was going to do to provide for my family. It's been 9 years since that happened and God has not only restored my health, but he's made a better person out of me. I'm more in tune with him and I'm almost in full-time ministry now. That's something I could never have imagined before and it's blessed me be able to help others get closer to the Lord.
