Almighty God, thank you for giving me life beyond the death of my mortal flesh. Thank you for giving me holiness beyond my sin-stained flesh. Thank you for delivering me from death and bringing me into your glory. Now, dear Father, may my words, deeds, and thoughts reflect your grace and power in all I do today and each day that follows. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Hellooooo :)

Please pray for me as a young worship leader, trying to make a difference at my church. My worship team, and my church as a whole, to be honest, is in a rough patch right now. We need to be revived.

I know the Holy Spirit wants to move in that church, but there are a lot of hardened hearts in the way.

Please pray that the Lord would use me as a tool to help bring about a change at Forest Brook, and that He would bring Healing to my church so that we can all worship with our whole hearts.

Thank you!

hi, all...

i'm asking for prayer for our church's worship team, which i am a part of...i believe there is a wave of worship God wants to flood our church with, and i desire to see Him manifest His glory through the worship...please pray that God prepares our hearts through humility and brokeness; that His will be done, and that He would receive all the glory and honor...please pray that He would send minstrels who love Him above all...

thank you...

I have got my first teaching interview Tuesday 26th April @ 12:45pm. If it's God's will for me, I know that the job is already mine, if not, I know God has got it covered and His ways and thoughts are higher than my own. I'm preparing myself to trust in the Lord with all my heart, and lean not on my own understanding. Thank you, will post back with the result!

Hello all,

Some in our small congregation are beginning an outreach to the youth in our community this week. We've had a relationship with the township and folks running the community center over the past year (volunteering to help serve at senior events and a Friday night 'get the kids off the streets' night as well as collecting food for the food kitchen) and they have actually asked us to run a program for kids knowing it will be faith based with a Christian message. We'll also be having local police come in at times to talk about drugs (have been a problem locally) and gangs (seems to be becoming a problem). Apparently there's been a lot of interest in it from the kids and it could become big. We're doing up the first night with the praise team doing some of our normal stuff (don't tell some on the site that we'll be using rock style music to give a Christian message--I don't need the condemnation) and have gotten some sporting equipment and food donated to us to help feed the kids and keep them occupied with team activities. There's no requirement for the kids to be Christian or even believe in God, just a desire to be part of a community of kids that'll produce some positive peer pressure. They will be told upfront that a Christian message will be given, so it's their choice whether to come or not.

Anyway, my prayer request is for hearts to be prepared, both kids and our adult volunteers, for what God has in store for us. The first night is Tuesday with a 90% chance of thunderstorms, so our impact may be small that night. Thank you

Mike

April 4, 2011

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ;

Good day!

I am Eleonor Paulate Quintana,   I am appealing to you to please pray for my husband, Rodolfo A. Quintana Jr…  He was confined at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Alabang, Muntinlupa due to gunshot wounds.  He was shot twice in the head while we were at home watching television at about 10:45pm, March 1, 2011. I brought him in this hospital because of the urgency of his condition and this is the nearest complete facility in our place and I believe proper care will be given to him here in order to save his life – and that is the most important thing for us right now.  As of now, the suspect is still at large, no witnesses whatsoever.  We just gave it all to God.

He was discharged from the hospital on March 19, 2011...He incurred a bill of P763, 143.66.  I really thank the Lord for His help; He sent His provisions thru friends and families who really supported us through this time of trial in our lives.  My husband will be scheduled for another operation this coming May at another hospital for reconstructive surgery (left zygoma, left maxilla and left mandible) because he can’t talk and eat well because of the damage done to his facial bones…The doctor told us to prepare at least P500,000.00 more for his next operation.

I am sincerely asking for your help in the payment of his hospitalization bill.  The amount is so big we can’t afford to pay it.  What we are thinking right now is for him to recover fast from his injuries and that our lives will be back to normal again.  Because of this incident my two kids stopped from their schooling and we have to transfer to my parents place for security reasons.  Also, I am asking you to please continue praying for the recovery and protection of my husband and for the emotional and psychological healing of my whole family as well.

Thank you so much and may God bless us all…

Sincerely,

ELEONOR PAULATE QUINTANA                                                               22 San Simon Street, Brgy. Holy Spirit, Quezon City                                       0917-8161708 / 0927-550-1734

Please pray for my QTS teaching skills tests today. I have 3 tests from 9:30am till 12pm. Teaching is God's plan for me, I'm sure but have had a really bumpy few months and things haven't gone as I'd planned, so I thank God that His ways are higher than my ways, His thoughts are higher than my thoughts xx
