We've had a few discussions of "old and grumpy" kinds of things, but one of the things that goes along with old and wrinkly is that we start breaking down physically as well... and that can certainly…Continue

How are people developing in their playing etc?

Seeing the worship songs thread made me wonder. I started playing guitar at 16 (1977) and electric when I realised I couldn't sing pretty much a year later. Over the years I've experimented with…Continue

Hi, I find myself more chilled out about things in general, the older I get. When leading worship, although my mind can often feel at ease, my body is a different kettle of fish, and I suffer…Continue

=) it's been a blessed X-mas. Funny how new born babies bring the best out in people. Must be the nice baby smell they all have. =)

Thanks for the X-mas wishes. Same to you and your families.

Thanks Lorraine - and you too.

Wayne - congrats on your early Christmas present - I hope you can get all the sleep you need, even if not the sleep you want.

Hope all my 'Old and Wrinkly' friends have a lovely Christmas and New Year. Just think, one advantage of getting old is that it costs alot less money to get  intoxicated : ) : )

Blessings. Lorraine

You are welcome Wayne. Ah, the sleepless nights, I remember them well. Don't worry, it will pass - honest. Then again, when they get into their teens - yikes!

Aw, thank you for taking the time and trouble to try though.

My user name is fairly obvious, I need something I can remember!

Hey, I can remember my first beer too, although I really shouldn't be able to remember, 'cos I was most definitely not old enough!

Mm, the response wasn't very nice to say the least. If anyone wishes to back me up, here is the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRy79VQh-KI&feature=related

Will keep on praying though : )

Lorraine---send back an e-mail stating that you'll pray for him (assuming it's a him) and then actually pray for him. I was the guy back in the late 80's that screamed with glee whenever some religious leader fell into public disgrace. I was the guy who hated all things to do with God because so many of His 'people' were blinded and brainwashed into a political view that differed from mine. Somewhere along the line someone began praying for me. I honestly can't remember the guys name, but I am forever thankful to him for doing it.

I'm on my high horse.......I am sick of going on to YouTube, logging on to Christian songs and finding foul user names and comments. I complained at one guy, only to get a personal email back full of four letter words. Is there no respect for anything or anyone these days?
