Comment by Greg Moore on June 24, 2011 at 6:44am I've always been the guy who leads the caroling on the city hall steps, or sets up a keyboard in the farmer's market, or writes a Gospel song for a school program or sets Scriptures to music for Released Time -- so while I don't have a specific "ministry", I'm interested in this subject, so here I am~<:<)

Comment by Sue on March 27, 2011 at 7:23am Hi Jerry:
I have also lead worship in prison. I'm sure we can do some exchanging of stories. I also know what you mean by your statement. Welcome.
Comment by Jerry Frydrych on March 26, 2011 at 7:18pm Hi I'm Jerry. I just joined this group. In church, I play various instruments ON the praise team, but weekly I lead worship in prisons. I often have inmates playing with me. Some are mature men of God, many are new Christians, some are pretenders looking for an excuse to play music again. It is often difficult to get them to worship through music instead of playing songs meant for worship. I have grace for that, but I am constantly trying to grow them from it with the players changing regularly. I posted this as introduction of myself, not a search for advice, although I always try to listen to wise council.
