Of all the members here, if there is someone in particular who you would really like to meet in person, who is it, and why?

...Just curious!

I would love to sit down and take a few lessons from Matt Redmond or Bebo Norman on how they receive/write the songs that they write. I don't have a lyric writing bone in my body it feels like and I wish I did. I know some of their songs are God breathed but others I know come from some where inside and are not so directly given. I want to know how to pull that out from the inside and put into lyric form.

I'm not sure quite yet who I would want to meet because I'm still discovering who all is on here!! So, my best answer is to have a party where everyone could get together.....much more fun too! Music of course because we all love music would be playing and maybe we have some good chefs here (not I though I made my first turkey the other day and it wasn't too bad!) who could bring some goodies to munch on.....I'm envisioning random games and general get to know you conversation :-) But, I didn't really answer the question at hand lol
Bring it on !
Good idea Jessi, I will bring the food, I love cooking.

I would like to meet Paul from the bible, what an inspiration he is and a man who was founded in the word. He also knew who he was in Christ. He was unshakable.
I would LOVE to sit down and talk to Brian Doerksen. He seems to be so deep in his relationship with the Lord. I am very intrigued by him. Paul Baloche is another songwriter who seems like such a great person to get to know. But if I had only one chance to meet one of these great worship leader/songwriters out there right now it would be Vicky Beeching. She is an amazing writer and singer. She has learned a lot in her walk with the Lord. She is definitely someone I would LOVE to spend time with getting to know. Lara~
Of all the members here

It would either be Paul K (who I also know from songfight, but have never met in person) or Bizzy ( at least I know we wouldn't get into any big political arguments).

There are also a lot of really cute backup singers here that would be fun to meet in person, but I'd just get all flustered and they'd be all creeped out. So, uhh, Paul or Bizzy.

Charles
Yeah, I was going to say Charles but I don't post much so I didn't say anything. Until now. Also, I didn't want him to get creeped out or flustered. Until now. *grin*
well i've been called cute (Not by you though charles lol)
i could be a bgv
and I'm a singer

so thanks.
haha.
I'm going to cop out and not mention anyone in particular.... LOL

In the short amount of time I've been fellowshipping here at WTR, there's a group of about 5 or 6 that I'd love to meet and share a meal and some beautiful worship together - celebrating the diversity of our God-given gifts and enjoying the amazing way the internet has been able to draw people from all corners of the globe together.

And before the mushiness becomes too overwhelming...I'll get out of here :-)
So apparently I asked a multitude of questions, and even posed a challenge (to understand the question asked) in this thread, lol! I love it!

Jessi, I LOVE your idea! Maybe we could all talk to Jesus and have a special banquet after we've been in heaven a while, lol!

Keep 'em coming guys!

david, you are too kind.
:)
haha

(can we say presumptious?) haha
I to am still learning all who are on here so to limit to only people on here would be difficult for me as there is so much talent I would love to "rub elbows" with. But if given the choice of most anybody then I would choose Chris Tomlin, he is such an awesome song writer and worship leader that just hanging out with him would be a blessing.
