Where to find instrumentalists and vocalists for churches?!?!

Don't most churches have a 6 month or 1 year waiting period between a person becoming a member and being put on the worship team?

Sometimes this is the case. But there are occasions where someone is needed in varying capacities. For example:

- a worship leader resigns and there is no one in the church that can effectively do it, so someone may be needed on a temporary basis.
- you recognize there are probably people disheartened at their current church (locally) and you simply want others to know you are looking to see if God is leading them to possibly join your church and play on your worship team.
- you are a new startup church and don't have worship personnel within the church (lots of churches fit in this category).
- your church needs someone to play / sing for a particular weekend.
- your church is having a special event (community event, Easter, Christmas, etc.) and you need additional personnel.
- a church that uses "special music" and would like to have a guest musician come and play / sing at the church.
- someone is looking for a variety of people that can play / sing for weddings and funerals (especially those that aren't musically inclined or connected).
- churches that want to give the worship team a break for one week (or more) and have a guest worship leader / concert artist come in and lead.
- a traditional church is looking for someone to be able to fill in and preach - such as when the pastor is sick or for a revival (especially if it is a smaller church and the pastor doesn't have a lot of connections).
- a church would like to have a drama team (coming soon) come in and participate in their worship service.
