I don't know that song, but I'll look it up on Utube and learn it! The song I just can't stop using is probably Throne of Grace. I've sung this song for years and it never fails to cause worship to happen, people to repent, hands raise in praise...it's awesome. Another one that I've sung for years is Boundless Love. It's a keeper!

It comes and goes, but right now a song we sing a lot is "Let God Arise." Our team has this song down really well, and two of our singers give it some killer harmonies. The congregation responds to it a lot. I did change it up a bit by turning the verses into a "Leader sings a line, back-up singers and congregation sing on the echo" and that really helped with it, getting rid of all those empty spaces after each phrase in the verse.

We did this in church, it's especially good with a lead guitar and tonnes of power chords! I think the echo idea is good for it, I can just imagine the sound in my mind, it sounds great! Thanks so much, if I ever try Let God Arise in youth group, I'll have to give this a go!

Surrender by Lincoln Brewster still hits me right where it hurts. Another oldie is Draw Me Close to You. Hard to sing that without the emotions flowing...for me it always pulls me back to the basics of loving Jesus with all my heart, and Him loving me.

I know what you are saying about Draw Me Close to You, I use this often at home when on my own and, yes, Rick it certainly gets the emotions going for me, sometimes I can barely get through it. It helps remind me that He is my bestest friend and will never let go of me.

my pastor is on our worship team and at the end of our worship time,
he will often look over at me and say lets go.. and we all know what he's thinkin.. lol.. kinda funny.
but its "freedom reigns ..into.. let it rain"
great song..
i had to start up ending w/ other songs..
but its all how God wanted it..

Is that let it rain one "Let it rain. Let it Rain. Open the flood gates of heaven"?

How Great is Our God and Friend of God. Congregation seems to really enjoy both. Makes it fun to help lead when everyone is singing along.
