Worship is not just for Sundays...Worship has to be our breath. Each day gives us thousands of reasons to worship the Lord...This discussion is to encourage each of us to identify one reason every day to worship the Lord and to share it here will not only open our eyes to the blessings of each day....but also encourage others to do the same.

My reason to worship
Yesterday I read Zeph 3:17 which says "...He will quiet you with His love..." I remembered the times wen I crept into my mom's Bedroom the night before a very difficult exam and slept on the floor...Just knowing that she was there beside me quietened my terrified heart. If a mom's love can have such an effect...how much more the Love of our Lord...
Just knowing that no matter what state the world is in, God reigns, is in control, and has a master plan for each of us!

"When there is no freedom from the choices that I had made, When I know that I have messed up, When I know that I will never forgive myself for doing so....With just one touch He makes me clean...He meets me in my deepest need..."

These lines from a song that I love...gives me one more reason to worship God...His Love is awesome :)
Jer 29:11- God's promise to me - says "I know the plans that I have for you....plans to give you a hope and a future"...what more reason to worship God when He made this promise come true in my life and gave me an opportunity to guide and counsel 16 and 17 year old girls in desperate situations by making me their teacher!!!!
Looks like those teens are blessed to have you!
thank u so much....I just hope and pray that I can fulfill God's plan to the best of my ability
The beauty of God's Word, nature and creation inspires me to worship...
Ditto that remark. Every year as the buds arrive, flowers bloom, trees bloom, birds sing, laughing gulls 'laugh', groundhogs appear, guinea hens and geese have little ones, fireflies come out, etc. is a time for worship. I drive a lot on my job and would get frustrated at getting stopped by so many red lights. Awhile ago I decided to try praying whenever I had to stop. It's gotten me to be able to pray and worship more throughout the day more regularly. There are times I forget and go back into old habits, but it's easier now to remember to get back into an attitude of worship than it was at first and those times are more infrequent.
I recently attended a worship conference(Seven Words of Worship) presented by Mike Harland and Stan Moser. Pastor Harland is director of LifeWay Christian Resources and Mr. Moser is president of Spin 360. One of the most profound (for myself anyway) statements I heard from Pastor Harland was "...the fruit of our lips is praise but the fruit of our lives is Worship." To me that sounds like almost any one can offer up praise saved or not but the fruit of our lives ie... how we treat others, our obedience to God given authority etc.. determines our true worship. That caused me to pause and check out the branches on my tree, were they ladened with fruit or did I just have a lot of leaves, looks good but not much good for anything but to look at. I know this a bit off the subject question but I just wanted to share what God has shown me recently. Which is one of the many reasons I love to worship HIM, That He loves me so much that while I was yet a sinner worthy of death and judgement He chose to suffer and die a sinners death for me. With that kind of love and mercy and grace how could we not worship Him. His name be praised forever and ever.
I logged in today with a troubled heart...but just looking at all the posts here made me worship God....I know none of you but looking at ur posts made me feel that Im not alone....
Thank you...
My daughter running to give me a hug when I pick her up from school. God has given her to me to bless me beyond imagination.
I worship Him because He is my savior and He loves me without reason...
