There are so many things that I am thankful for today...There is not enough space to give it it's full light.
I am thankful for God's grace and love, and my salvation through the greatest gift He gave through Jesus.
I was bound by drugs and alcohol for over 30 years...My life (if you can call it a life) before He saved me, was hell on earth. I was addicted to cocaine and heroin as well as alcohol. Every aspect of my life was in destruction--I was in and out of jails, rehabs, and other institutions. My family had given up hope (though I know my mothers prayers were always for me to be saved). Long story short....since I've turned my life over to the care of God and trust in Jesus as my savior, I have a life, second to none. I have a wonderful family--Both at home and my extended Christian family! I am with a great group of guys who are in the process of building an awesome music ministry. We have been out on several events over the last couple of months. There have been times when we play for Him, and He in turn decides to show up and and do the playing for us!!! The presence of the Spirit is so overwhelming! To see the light of our Lord on the faces of those who come to prasie and worship is something that words can not fully describe.
Today I follow the example of Jesus--I serve..I give of myself. To see what I can put into life instead of what I can get out of it--The transformation that is still a work in progress, of a loving God, is a blessing each and every day--What am I thankful for?? It starts with just having air in my lungs, and only gets better from there!

Amen! Awesome testimonial.
I am thankful to have found Jesus as my Life, my Savior, in a world so full of mediocre excuses for life and so many false salvations. His Word, the Bible, never fails to help me grow, to be able to see God's goodness, and to find great happiness in sharing its truths with other people. I am thankful that God has helped me, a loner by nature, see the value of other people. First among these is my wife, a woman full of grace, love, courage and besides that she's a real kick! (I hope that idiom comes across right to those of you in the UK). I'm thankful that, as a Christian, I have been spared the agonies of being in a legalistic church or hypocritical family, and that He has helped me to somehow be able to minister to those who have suffered in that way. I'm thankful to have two children who love Jesus, simply and straightforwardly.

I am grateful to have been given ability for music, for a father who paid good money for lessons, though he was a fine teacher, but didn't want music to be a chore for me, but rather a thing of love. I am thankful for pastors who were willing to work with an unconventional music minister like myself, and for many friends whose lives illustrated true discipleship of Jesus.

Thank you for asking this question!
that i am His and He is mine
