Worship The Rock - Worship Leader Forum & Social Network

If any of you are "old school" like me, and remember the early pioneers of the "Jesus Movement" like Larry Norman and Randy Stonehill, you may remember an artist named Tom Howard.  He released a few albums back in the late 70's and early 80's that I listened to as a teenager.

His debut album, View From the Bridge, had a great praise song called One More Reason (lyrics can be seen here on my blog).

I recently learned that Tom, while hiking with his wife, suffered a massive heart attack and went home to be with his Lord.  Please pray for his wife Dori and their two daughters.  If you remember his music, share your thoughts.

I haven't heard of Tom Howard in years. This is a sad day for us and especially for his family, but a glorious day for Tom as he stands before the Lord. I loved that album!
Saw him live a couple times with Larry Norman. Yeah, great album and great song.
