Can anyone provide some good chorus' to just flow with over and over. We sometimes use Glorify, or Let it Rain etc., but looking for something in a good key that we can just sing and have the instruments play and allow some singing in the spirit and worship time. I appreciate your feedback..

Your Name (Paul Baloche, Glenn Packlam) Your name is a strong and mighty tower.....is a good one.
We've used the chorus from Jars of Clay's Love Song for a Saviour a few times: "I want to fall in love with you" repeated.....

I guess a lot of it depends on the placing in the service as to the response you'd like people to think about. I've found it most real and worshipful when it's happened out of a song which matched the theme of that section of the service and people have been able to engage with it.

Do you have any ideas about the context you might look to use it in?

There's also a great little song called "He's My Saviour" by Joel Payne. You can get a copy of the score and Mp3s at http://www.resoundworship.org/song/hes_my_saviour - it was deliberatly written to encourage people to suggest verses to add to the song you can develop a corporate yet spontaneous worship time. When I've heard it used, there's been something wonderful about singing other people's worship suggestions. Maybe not quite what you're after, but it's definitely something a little different.

Cheers

Hillsongs United has some really wonderful repetitious choruses that really bring you into His presence. Listen to "The Stand." Gorgeous song and the chorus really lends itself to repetition. Check out http://www.savevid.com/video/the-stand-hillsongs-united-shortened.html. (Starts with So I'll stand...) You're gonna love this one! Here it is with just the chorus: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y6suBrSFaiM&feature=related
There's also Breathe. Once you get to the chorus, very repeatable. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oad8ov10AjY
Hope this helps. I'm sure I'll think of more and get back to you.

We do this one a lot (great suggestion!) very powerful.
The tag to Consuming Fire by Tim Hughes with Hillsong United. Simple C D Em7 progression to the lyrics"Stir it up in our hearts Lord, stir it up in hearts Lord, stir it up in our hearts Lord, a passion for your Name! Also, Charlie Hall "We are Yours" same three chords with the declaration "We are Yours".
There are many songs that you could use as the Holy Spirit lead you to such. I have experiences singing songs repeating choruses during worhsip time and it made the people of God experience HIS presence. I have watcher Jesus Culture singing I exalt thee, watch this as well and prayfor God's leading if you will let this song be sung in your church. The mighty presence of God is real in the video.. I suggest as well look for Hillsong Music for song reference..

GBU..
The end of "Holy and Anointed One" repeats the name "Jesus".

There is also "You are My King, Jesus You are my King" at the end of "Amazing Love, how can it be..."
Theres a song by Stephen Hurd called Your Glory...
Here are all the words: As your glory fills this house, and your presence floods my soul, even now forever more: Your name be praised...
That's the whole song.

Here's one by Israel Houghton: Alpha and Omega
You are alpha and omega. We worship you our Lord, you are worthy to be praised.
We give you all the glory. We worship you our Lord, you are worthy to be praised. (Live in Africa cd)

Martha Munizzi: Holy Spirit Fill this Room/Come Holy Spirit Come (No Limits cd)
Holy Spirit fill this room. Shekinah glory sweet perfume. We need your presence we need you. Holy Spirit fill this room
Come holy spirit, come. Come Holy Spirit, come, and abide within us, rest upon us. Come holy spirit come...
Just a few...
Good suggestions!

Here's one we did recently (attached) -

You are Worthy, of all of my praise,
Oh, so Worthy, to serve all my days,
You are worthy, Oh, bless Your holy Name,

End -
You are Worthy, of all of my praise,
Oh, so Worthy, to serve all my days,
You are Worthy, of all of my praise,
You are worthy, Oh, bless Your holy Name.

Your Glory will have you slain in the Spirit....I love this song...

I often use the chorus of Father God, I wonder. 'I will sing Your praises .......for evermore.' God Bless.
Glenda...when I choose music for our Sunday set, typically Saturday, I bring up Israel's Alpha and Omega live version on You Tube and just listen and worhsip and praise. Now I have to find a chord structure that fits my range. His range is wicked high. We went to see Chris Tomlin and Israel opened for him and we instantly became fans of Israel and New Breed.
