I need to recruit a pianist to accompany me alongside my guitarist/saxophonist and cellist for some concerts that I am organising, starting in the Bristol area and then working outwards. There is an initial flat fee rate paid per musician, per concert which will increase with ticket sales. My music (seriously) sounds a lot more difficult than what it actually is, but you probably will need to be at about Grade 8 standard and sensitive to the Spirit of God. I need someone who is prepared to come to 1 rehearsal per week to start off with just for the band to start to play as a unit. Rehearsals will be in North Bristol. Feel free to visit my website - www.mariettedavina.com - the 3 videos under the video section will give you a pretty good idea of the music. Please contact me at info@mariettedavina.com if interested:)

It's nice to meet a touring Christian musician. Before you get all busy, care to share how God has gotten you where you are? It would be encouraging to hear how he has provided for you to get in this place and possibly what He's done to inspire you to write?
Permalink Reply by Mariette Davina on April 19, 2012 at 3:56pm It has been a step by step process of a combination of hard work and listening to God's instructions on what next steps to take, and most of all steadfastly believing the promises He has spoken over my life. I have been slowly building up a fan base and am now selling my album every week to people all over the world from my website. I have had to sometimes juggle 5 jobs at once to pay for the music video, website, marketing, equipment etc. but it has all been worth it. I am very touched that people are even starting a fan forum specifically dedicated to the music that I write, and I simply can no longer ignore the demand for a tour. God is my inspiration for writing but most of all the message he has given me, which is to bring encouragement to people to take a risk and never give up on their destiny in life. That is really the common theme throughout my songs. I hope that answers your questions - God bless!

I'm curious what kinds of instructions one gets from God in this case? Perhaps folks here need to know how this all works. I'm pretty sure I'm in my career, but there are several on here who may be ready to launch.
