Just wondering what new worship songs from this year (i.e. 2012) have caught your imagination? Is there a particular worship song that was new to you recently, but now seems like you've known it for ages? These songs are often the ones that are congregational and easy to pick up.
Looking forward to seeing which new 2012 worship songs are popular amongst our members!

Also done a really synthed up version of We Are The Free also from Matt Redmans album 10,000 reasons.
One of the reasons I like that album is that has moved away a little from the full rock style arrangements and actually leans heavily on simple piano arrangements. Beautiful me thinks
Permalink Reply by Hank Hanks on November 29, 2012 at 5:24pm I'm going to suggest another band and several of their songs. The Royal Royal are Nathan and Gabe Finochio, 2 PKs with a really fresh new angle. My keyboard player has flipped over them, and understandably so, as they tend to release both a stripped-down acoustic version and his favorite big 80's inflected album versions. We've done "Praise Him" in church already. It's very anthemic and energetic, so much so that Hillsong picked it up for their last album. My present favorites are "Draw Near", "How Wonderful" and "My Hope". Their album is $8.99 right now and I've got it on heavy rotation.
