Just wondering what new worship songs from this year (i.e. 2010) have caught your imagination? Is there a particular worship song that was new to you recently, but now seems like you've known it for ages? These songs are often the ones that are congregational and easy to pick up.

Looking forward to seeing which new worship songs are popular amongst our members!

Hi!

I have a beautiful young talented singer who is only 13 years old, and we are going to sing, "Follow You" by Leeland and Brandon Heath. She has an awesome, mature voice for her age! This song is special to me because I am the Homeless Education Coordinator for our school district and my desire is to continue to be God's hands and feet for as long as I live.
We will have a short film showing as we sing, and my prayer will be that the song will inspire others to reach out to the unfortunate as well.

God Bless to all!

In Christ,

Peg McFadden

Have you checked out Bethel Live's Album, "Here is Love" great album, the other one to check is Brian Johnson's Acoustic album "Love Came Down" (also from Bethel church)
All time favourite.......what an awesome cd!!!! Love came down......radio version is off the hook!!!!!!
I agree 100% that our congregation has taken a liking to "Our God" from the new Passion CD. Also "How He Loves" by John Mark McMillan ala David Crowder. Our Creation group also began a medley of The Stand, No One Higher, and Glory To God Forever that has become a hit at worship as well.
I am rather biased, but we have just released an album today and I really love the songs :) I have added them to my profile but not sure if they are playing properly so here is an alternative link to listen to them http://www.facebook.com/d7music?v=app_19935916616
We recently started playing "Revelation Song" (the Jesus Culture version). When out worship pastor first announced it I thought it would be too wordy for our congregation to follow along with. I was so wrong! Many of them have heard the song before and were very excited to sing it. :-)

Yaweh by Hillsong is powerful. I know that it isn't a "new" song, but it is new to our congregation. We look to Yahweh, Yahweh. Our hope is Yaweh, Yaweh.
