Last weeks set list was (again) sung entirely by Carrie, as I needed another week to let my jaw recover. I'll sing Palm Sunday , though. So we sang:

1. Come, Now is the Time to Worship -Brian Doerksen - C modulating up to D
2. Hosanna (Hillsong) - Brooke Fraser - Key of E
3.There's Something About that Name - Gaither (Christ for the Nations style)- Key of D
4.Jesus, Lover of My Soul -Hillsong - F modulating up to G
5. Revelation Song - Christ for the Nations - C

We usually sing 6 songs, but we cut one because the message this week was on film and was longer than usual.
We are doing something similar. Here are my suggestions:

- Theif (3rd Day)
- Beautiful Scandalous Night (Six Pence/Various)
- How Deep the Fathers Love for Us
- There is a Fountain
- Near the Cross
- Why me Lord
- Jesus Paid it All
- All who are Thirsty
Then end it all with --- Can't keep a good man down! (Jimmy Cliff)
Beautiful Scandalous Night was originally done by "The Choir" (Steve Hindalong and Derri Daugherty). There's a more recent version by Robbie Seay Band that's really good too. Although, I do love leigh nash's voice :)

This weeks set is all taken from the nursing home visit we did this week--lots of hymns

C--It Is Well With My Soul--Horatio Spafford and Philip Bliss.--blended into:
C--How Great Thou Art--Stuart K. Hine seems to get credit for it
doing this combo in a wierd calypso bossanova style that amazingly went over quite well with alzheimers patients!

E--On Jordan's Stormy Banks--Samuel Stennett--played with the exact same melody as Amazing Grace in 4/4 time--blended into (of course)
E--Amazing Grace-- John Newton
Bbminor--In Christ Alone (My Hope is Found)--Keith Getty and Stuart Townsend
D--I Exalt Thee--Pete Sanchez Jr.
Palm Sunday:

1. Praise the Lord (Sovereign Grace)
2. Beautiful Jesus
3. Here is Our King
4. Hosanna (Hillsong)
5. Hiding Place (Jared Anderson)
6. You Gave Your Life Away
7. Worthy (my song)
