LOL. "If you feel led to give, it's between you and God. But, we're tracking..."

This is well done. Did you have anything to do with it?
No, I didn't. A friend, who is in a church much like that, sent it my way. Ha!
Hey, funny clip, Cory...but painful too.Not from the point of view that it 'exposes' what some churches do, but more like it pokes fun at what most of us are trying to do, which is doing our best to bring people closer to God. Sometimes we get it right and sometimes we don't.

Thanks for sharing it, but I have to admit to having mixed feelings. It's a good teaching video for a closed group of worship leaders/church leaders, but I'd hate to put that out on prime time TV...
Ha! Well, it is on the internet now! :)

It is always good if we can laugh at ourselves. You are right, there are a lot of us trying to do stuff like that and a lot of us who are doing it. Still, it is funny to simplify it like that.
Rick - I know what you mean. But it zeros in on so much of what we do from a mechanical point. May we not merely do what's in this video, but instead keep our main focus on the spiritual reality that we're trying to bring to our congregations.
That's awesome, cory. So true. Now we have the template to be a cool new hip church!
Almost perfect but there was nothing from HILLSONG ;)
Should I ever get ideas above my station, I'll use this to bring me down a peg or two : )

Agree with Rick............. but have to hold my hands up, loved it.
Pretty funny! A bit of an in-joke. So true that it pokes fun at what a lot of us actually aim for in church, even though that is not what church should be about at all.
You are right, church isn't about the production. Yet, I have no issues with making the presentation on stage a production and well produced, especially if you have the skills and the people / servants to make it happen.

God wants the best we can give, a sloppy worship service where there is no sense of flow, large breaks with nothing going on, missed sound cues, etc, is just, well, sloppy! If Jay Leno can deliver a "TV tight" program for millions, then I see no reason why we can't deliver a "TV tight" worship offering to God.

Note: it isn't required. But it is something to aim for.
