Help me out with my guitar strumming. Any helpful advice for transitioning from G, C and D with smooth transitions. How bout some easy songs with those chords. Thanks.

unless you mean how to transition between the chords, play Gsus, and keep your pinky and ring fingers anchored on the high E and B strings on the 3rd fret. That's easier to transition between chords
Lord I Lift Your Name on High is almost all G-C-D chords with an easy rythm. The Lorica (by Steve Bell) is another but the rythm is tougher as its jumps for 2/4 to 3/4 timing. Open the Eyes of My Heart (by Baloche) is also good as is Sanctuary (by Thompson). Shout to the North (by Martin Smith) has a driving Rythm. The chorus of Step by Step (by Mullens) is great. Strong Tower (by Newsboys) and You are My Strength (by Morgan from Hillsong) are my favourites.

His DVD's are excellent instructional material for beginners, and intermediates.
Key of D play these chords
D Am E7 A to Key of A
what you are doing is establishing a new center ot tonality.
Using the ii chord of the original key D with the tone E to setup the new Key using its V chord.
D E F# G A B C#
1 2 3 4 5 6 7
A B C# D E F# G# TO A.

Same for any other key. You may need to play the modulation more than once to strongly establish the new Key. you can directly pivot but it is harder for the singer to establish the new key. As in D to D7 chord to C Chord and then D7 to Key of G. Play with the sound to see what fits.
