Guitar Chord Symbols Question
Hey guys... does anyone know of a program that can generate guitar chord symbols (finger/fret diagrams)? What I mean is, is there a program for Mac that can spit out finger position images to add to chord charts? Or is there a font that would do this? Could some one point me in the write direction? I am a keyboard player first and foremost but have been asked to include the fretboard symbols in charts. any ideas? thanks!

In the old days I think someone created a font that instead of letters showed Chord Fingering charts. Maybe if you searched, you could find one for the Mac. I found this one with a quick search:

Your type "A" and get A fingering.
It was neat. Just open your word processor and change the font when you needed a chord.
Some on-line chord sites do this. They just add the fingering to the bottom of the page. You could probably cut and paste those.

Songsheet Generator will actually create chord charts for you. It has a set of canned ones but also allows you to create custom ones. It has a mac version and really works well. I create ALL our chord charts and lyric sheets in this program.
