It may also be a great outreach/witnessing opportunity, to reach out into the community and recruit some local musicians for the church, even if non-believers. As long as they respect the wishes and vision of the head pastor/worship director, they can have the seed planted and it may grow as their commitment to the ministry continues. I've met a worship pastor that was led by the Spirit to leave a large church to help start a new church in Oakland, CA. Once he asked a good friend, a nonbeliever, to help him start the music ministry, they recruited more and more, helped lead them to salvation, and now have a super-skilled team that are growing in the Lord!
I would like to extend this offer to anyone here using cd songs & music tracks for their worship...

Check out the "Studio songs" on my webpage here: http://recentrainfall.com/page_songs.html#studio

If you hear some which would work for your church, email me and let me know which songs you are interested in.
If the webpage indicates that there is a music track available for those songs, I can send you either mp3s, wav files or an audio cd of the songs you want, at no charge.
I have a Pastor friend in the New Orleans area that sat his worship team down for well over a year. He had over 1000 member church. They used CDs, put the lyrics up on the screen and had a choir sing along with the music. The choir had a director. During that time, whenever he had a special event, he would invite our worship team to go in and lead worship one night.
I promise you, if you were there to worship, it didn't bother you one bit. It was awkward the first time I walked in but after I realized they didn't have a worship team, I knew what to expect and believe me, it worked. Oh by the way, his church grew during that time.
So until you get a team, be creative and worship. Make it flow.
