If you're a gear head like me, the first things you do after a concert (especially small worship ones) is try to get close enough to see the goods (guitars, amps, effects). This is maybe my favorite part of the concert because I'm a huge nerd. Many artists tip their hand on blogs and websites, showing the rest of us what's in their arsenal.

So this area is a place where we care share those rigs that cause us to salivate like one of Pavlov's pups. Please post pics and detail if you can, so we can get those of so familiar symptoms of Gear Acquisition Syndrone (heart palpitations, shortness of breath, flop sweat, loose stool, etc...)

I'll go first:

If you're familiar with the group Fee, then you know that Matt Adkins is a BEAST!!! I got to talk with him after a concert and I asked where the sounds were coming from, and surprising he uses very few effects to get those amazing creations. A lot of what he does comes down to skill and timing. (By the by, he's a super nice fellow, actually they all are!).

Here's his rig as posted on the Fee blog:

Pedal Train pedal board:
- tone press compressor
- & what (home made pedal)…it’s a dirt pedal
- VooDoo Lab sparkle drive
- boss tuner
- orignal crybaby
- boss RV-5
- boss giga delay ( DD-20)
- line 6 DL4… With expression pedal
- Electro Harmonics POG
- Full Tone supa trem

(as far as I can tell that's the firing order too)

Funny story: We went to see Hillsong United: London in Syracuse, but the real reason we sent was that Fee was opening up for them (should have been the other way around in my opinion!). After the show, they were signing autographs and I walked by with my daughter, who at the time was a little more than a month old. The bass player shouts, "Holy cow guys look at that cute baby! Hey can we see your baby?!" So I went over there and they all cooed over her. When my friend got his phone out to take a picture, they all jumped in and posed for this jem (notice the manly burpy cloth draped over my shoulder...I am SO rock'n'roll!)

Turns out the bass player had a little one on the way (I think his first) and the rest of them also had little ones at home and they were missing their families a lot.
I'm the same way, I get up front to see the rigs. However, I'm a minimalist, so even Joe Bonamassa's rig is too much for me. Joe Satriani has a fairly minimal rig as you can see here:

But what strikes me more is how often these high level players use common pedals. I've rarely seen a botique pedal on these boards and when I do, it's usually only one out of many. Bonamassa says you can duplicate his board by going to Guitar Center.
Lincoln Brewster's stage rig - taken at CMS Southwest in Phoeniz, AZ 10/17/09
Strat-->wireless-->Fractal Audio AxeFX-->House
|-->house-provided amp on stage for monitor

Ben Gowell's rig (Paul Baloche, MWS, others)

Scotty Miller's (Brenton Brown, Vicky Beeching) pedal board. He played a LP and an SG (for slide) when I saw him.

Woah! Talk about a tech overload! Can anyone identify these beauties?

I think I see an EH Cathedral Reverb, an older Cusack Screamer, an EH HOG (drool...), a Keeley Compressor...but past that I don't know.
Picture is a little fuzzy, but is that Eventide Timefactor and ModFactor?

Tunner looks like an old Boss or Seiko real needle needle Chromatic version that a buddy had years ago.
He actually has two HOG and the footswitch (black one)

The one with all the knobs looks like home-brew Zvex Seek Wah or something with all the knobs. But I could be totally off.
No it's just one HOG, the second one is the preset pedal. It's just as big as the unit itself, but it stores all of the different settings the HOG has. Looks like he has the expression pedal as well.
Hm... I'm thinking the one top row, 2nd in from the left is a Empress Super Delay.
One next to the EH Catherdral I *think* looks like the analog man sunshine face, so I'm going to say: Analog Man Sun Face Fuzz Pedal.
Don't I see a Fulltone OCD next to the Keeley compressor?
