When you lead worship or play in a worship team do you tend to close your eyes or leave them open? I have heard arguments for both but would be interested what you find most helpful...

I like to make eye contact with the congregation.  I do close my eyes quite a bit, but it's not something that I mean to do, just happens.

As my pastor once said - one eye open, one eye closed!

Seriously, a mixture of both - there are times that I close my eyes and get lost in the worship and there are times I have them open - no hard and fast rule, I'm afraid.

Is that boring?

I lead worship with my eyes close. It's just my way of worshiping God, especially when I'm feeling the presence of the holy spirit.
